Happy Chinese New Year! Actually happy one-day belated Chinese New Year. (You'd think that as a Chinese person, I would have an internal genetic alarm for these kinds of holidays, but apparently not. Every year, some non-Chinese person is the first one to wish me a happy Chinese new year instead of the other way around.)
This was my favourite holiday as a kid because all the older married people have to give the younger unmarried people money in red lucky envelopes! And all you have to do to deserve this is go and visit your elders. Too bad they're a little far for me this year.

It's Lunar New Year as well...Mongolians especially refuse to refer to it as the Chinese New Year. So Happy Tsagaan Sar everyone.
