Friday The 13th!!!

Guess what everyone? Tomorrow is Friday 13th!!!
Almost as good as Halloween and a chance to make up for the lack of Halloween celebrations.
I don't think there's anyway we should let this glorious day pass (the next chance we'll get to mark such an event will be in October)– we need to watch really weird & creepy films to mark the occasion!
Only problem is I don't have a laptop to watch them.....

Is this dinner party gonna be on tomorrow or what?
If it is, who's up for some after dinner horror?

And on a side note- I know in Chile Tuesday 13th is tomorrow's equivalent. Do any other countries have a similar thing on a different weekday?

We Icelanders spend too much time worrying about how the hell we're gonna get ourselves warm, sitting in those igloos all day long... so we haven't thought of anything exciting for a 13th something.

But, I am always up for horror!!! And, I will ofcourse donate my beautiful computer for the occasion.

If we're not having the dinner padinner party tomorrow, we'll get together anyway and watch a creepy movie.

Which ones? Any suggestions? Jean, what about that "garden nobe" figure???

I still need to see the Ring...

And not to steal your thunder Nina... Jean and i were talking and if we have the dinner party on friday too, then we could all dress all proper and old fashioned, and have a murder mystery game too during the evening (somebody is (pretend!) killed and everyone needs to figure out who amongst us did it...)

would take some organising!, but might be quite fun!

and then the horror movies could start!

what do people think?

I think YESSS!

Oh, I'm so excited!!! Where should we have this???

I'd have to confirm with my flat mates, but I don't see why we couldn't do it there.

I also wouldn't mind doing this in Panchkula, especially since we might go on into the wee hours of the morning... and someone (not me, for sure) might be too scared to travel home after a night of horror... so we could maybe all stay over???

I can't wait for this!!!

Yeh! Another horror fan! The film I think you're talking about Nina is 'The Leprechaun'!! not sure if we could get it but if we can rent it somewhere then sure! Personally, The Shining still gets me so I'd love to see that – as for The Ring I've seen the 3 Japanese versions & both the American versions at least twice (i'm not a freak horror movies are my thing!) so I'd prefer not to watch that. But whatever we watch these absolutely MUST be popcorn involved otherwise I don't wanna go!

I'm working on the murder mystery thing to see if it's do-able so I'll keep you posted, i think it sounds like fun but if it doesn't work we can just have the horror! And for dressing up I don't have anything other than a Rajasthani wedding dress so I'll just go in my regular clothes I think!

And is all this gonna happen after the dinner party tomorrow night? Is that right?

I'm soooo sad I'm missing this. I think everyone should dress in drag and watch the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I'll be in Hyderabad and I'm going to do it. I think Mads will look hot in some ripped black fishnets!

Hang on a minute – I'm commenting in both places here we can't have a Friday 13th themed party & then not watch horror...I understand (no appreciate, i can't understand it! )horror is not for everyone but c'mon it's FRIDAY 13TH, a day when the supernatural lurks everywhere....!

Good Call with Rocky Horror Nicholas, glad to see you're keeping your fishnet fantasies alive & well too, “it's just a jump to the left” etc!
