Apparently that means to be laid off in the US because your job was outsourced to India. You guys gotta check out this article. It's about the effect of Hinglish (Indian English) on the English language. Did you know that a "kitty party" is a gathering for bored Indian housewives? Or how about "Lollywood?" It's Lahore's film industry....interesting.
Words like "mantra," "shampoo," "jungle," "bungalow," and "cot" are already taken from Hindi...didn't even think of that. In the near future, words like "freshie (new immigrant)" might be become common-speak.
When I go back to Canada, I'm going to try to incorporate "theek hai" and "hanji, sir" into the english language...don't forget the head shake.
