Snow

Snow in Belgrade

In my country it just started snowing some days ago. I hate snow in the city for many reasons, and I cannot say I'm missing it, but still... it's different when it's not here when it "should" be. Funny. :)

Oh my God!!!

I just looked out of the window in the office...

It's snowing in Chandigarh too!

I gotta run to the bookies - I think we're in for a white Christmas!

I feel your pain, Vladan. It's been snowing on-and-off back home for 3 weeks now.

Are you sure that wasn't ash from a nearby newspaper burning factory, Ryan?

I can say I ain’t missing the Edinburgh weather!! I can still feel all my body parts here when I go outside and it’s almost December!

Doesn't whiskey have the same effect?

that in response to jean's comment.

But Kent this is the only reason for my whiskey consumption, it helps keep your blood flowing smoothly in wintery conditions (and my body is accustomed to accommodate an increased level at this time of year to battle colds and flus)…I find Hot Whiskeys and Irish Coffees particularly suited to such conditions also.

Hold the phone, Jean...you don't drink to escape reality like the rest of us?

Didn't they teach you in hypothermia lessons that drinking actually cools you down?

I think marty also likes the hot whiskey as well...cures what ails ya.

I miss being able to look out of the window in the morning, and having the weather entirely plan you day for you - a little bit of rain and you don't have to get out of bed - regardless of whether or not there is a lecture to go to.

So such luck in India - we can go to the office everyday over here :(

I miss the snow man. I love when it's -40C and you just call a cold day and don't leave the house!

Plus I look so good in a touque I need an excuse to wear one more often.

touque?!

you mean a bobble-hat?!

That's weird but in my beautiful Chile (not South Africa or Finland) is Summer now...

Bobble-hat?!? What's that? Some weird Western Canadian term?

I miss snow, too! I'm definitely going to look into snow countries for my next posting.
