No he's credited with introducing Christianity or Catholicism to Ireland (he came from Scotland, apparently) so I'm guessing he was no close friend of Jesus... & part of me thinks things might be more fun in Ireland if we were left to our pagan ways...
I watched my first game of hybrid Gaelic/Aussie Rules football today... in Singapore! Go figure! The Irish and Australian expat teams were playing each other. The game seemed interesting, but I was melting too much from the high humidity heat to pay attention clearly.
